Linklaters hires two partners in Shanghai

A number of firms have announced new hires in Asia recently, including a duo of partners hired in the Shanghai office of Linklaters. The firm brought on corporate partner Simon Meng of King & Wood Mallesons and Andrew Ruff from Shearman & Sterling in preparation for the firm’s upcoming joint venture within the Shanghai free trade zone. Linklaters has also hired Niranjan Arasaratnam in Singapore, where he will serve as TMT partner. Other firms with recent hires in the region include Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Sparke Helmore Lawyers, JunHe, Stephenson Harwood, Howse Williams Bowers, Morrison & Foerster, K&L Gates, Withers, Akin Gump and Rajah & Tann.
