Stewarts Law hires David Hughes of Dechert

Stewarts Law has hired litigation expert David Hughes of Dechert. Hughes works primarily with banking groups and specializes in fraud and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Dechert, Hughes spent 9 years as head of banking and finance litigation at Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP). He joins the commercial litigation team at Stewarts Law, where partner Sean Upson is currently overseeing a case involving a shareholder claim against Tesco. Stewarts’ commercial litigation head Clive Zietman said Hughes will be an asset to the firm’s fraud team, which includes 52 partners.
