DWF opens Singapore office with four-strong Eversheds Sutherland team

DWF is preparing to launch a new office in Singapore in a move that will expand the firm’s presence in the region. The office will be led by former Eversheds Sutherland Singapore managing partner Oommen Mathew. He joins DWF with three other hires from Eversheds Sutherland, including Iain Black, who served as Asia head of construction, infrastructure and energy. Associates Kate Lan and Charis Tan will also join the new office. Eversheds Sutherland is understood to have appointed Philip Fong as the firm’s new Singapore managing partner to take over the position from Mathew.
