Weightmans profits up 21% as turnover remains static
Weightmans has posted a 21 per cent increase in profits for the 2016/17 financial year. Turnover came in at £95m this year, remaining constant with last year’s figure.
Profit per equity partner (PEP) rose from £248,000 in 2015/16 to £295,000 in 2016/17 following two years of decline.
This year’s financial results are the first for Weightmans since a strategic review that resulted in management and operational changes. Managing partner John Schorah said the firm has not yet fully seen the effects of its recent restructuring efforts.
