KWM announces strategic plan to increase Chinese-German deals capability
King & Wood Mallesons has announced that the firm plans to double its deals capability between Germany and China by mid-2018. The firm, which is based in Asia, has brought on two new Frankfurt-based partners to boost this capability.
The planned growth in Germany follows last year’s collapse of the firm’s European arm.
Corporate partner Christian Cornett said the firm will increase its corporate finance presence in Germany, where the local office works on approximately 40% local matters and 60% international work.
