Reed Smith picks up Kirkland private equity partner

Reed Smith has hired Leith Moghli, who joins the firm after having spent 10 years with Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a private equity partner. Moghli has been a member of Kirkland’s funds practice since it launched in London, and he reportedly left the firm in April 2017. He focuses on energy, natural resources, venture infrastructure, private equity, secondary and debt funds for clients including sponsors and financial institutions. Although Kirkland has lost a number of partners in recent years, the firm has also brought on recent lateral hires.
