UK Independent firms reach 33% representation of women in partnership

According to The Lawyer’s UK 200 report, firms in the second 100 cohort have reached a new threshold of 33.4 per cent of women in partnership positions. This year’s figure represents an increase over 2015/16, in which women made up 31 per cent of partners among the group. In contrast, the top 100 firms reported that 24.8 per cent of partners were women in 2016/17. Of the cohort, the only firms with no female partners were Drydensfairfax and Bott & Co.
