Bristows to launch in Brussels ahead of Brexit

Bristows has announced plans to open a new office in Brussels in 2018, 12 months prior to the end of Brexit negotiations. The Brussels base will be the first non-UK office for the firm. Bristows has appointed competition partner Stephen Smith to head up the office. In addition, six partners are expected to use the office regularly. According to co-managing partner Marek Petecki, the firm’s goal is to help EU clients navigate the Brexit process prior to the end of negotiations.
