Clifford Chance litigation head Jeremy Sandelson steps down from role

Jeremy Sandelson will step down from his position as global head of litigation at Clifford Chance. As of December 1, Clifford Chance partner Matthew Newick will replace Sandelson, who spent eight years in the role. Newick joined Clifford Chance in 1991, and was appointed as head of the firm’s Hong Kong litigation and dispute resolution practice in 2013. Earlier this year, he returned to London from Hong Kong. According to managing partner Matthew Layton, Newick brings expertise in litigation, risk management, and dispute resolution to the role.
