BLM redundancy consultation slashes 21 legal and support roles

BLM has completed its lates redundancy consultation, which resulted in a reduction of 21 roles within the firm. The cuts include 13 legal roles and eight legal support staff roles. When the firm first announced the launch of the consultation in August, it said the cuts could affect up to 29 positions. The consultation follows the firm’s previous round, which involved cutting its Leeds headcount in half and slashing support staff by 15 per cent throughout the firm.
