Simpson Millar redundancy consultation results in 20% staff cut

Simpson Millar has launched its latest restructuring and redundancy consultation, which is expected to result in a 20% cut in staff positions. The cuts could affect a total of 100 to 120 positions within the firm, which employs more than 500 staff members throughout 13 offices in the UK. Managing partner Greg Cox has led the firm since taking over the reins from David Broadbent in August of 2017. Broadbent serves as CEO of Fairpoint Group, which owned Simpson Millar until financial issues caused a split from the firm.
