Former Burges Salmon partner Roger Hawes cleared of HBOS charge

December 14, 2017 Roger Hawes, who previously worked as a partner at Burges Salmon, has been cleared of charges related to concealing criminal property. The investigation began in 2013 and spanned a period of four years.

The charges against Hawes concerned the facilitation of acquisition, control, retention or use of criminal property. According to a spokesperson from Burges Salmon, the firm welcomes the end of the process, but will not offer any public statements related to the charges.
