Aon hires Edward Smerdon of Sedgwick

As Sedgwick prepares for the closure of the firm, current London office head Edward Smerdon has accepted a new role at Aon. Upon joining Aon, he will serve as head of legal and technical matters. Smerdon has been with Sedgwick since 2010, when he joined the firm from RPC. He previously served as a partner at legacy Davies Arnold Cooper, and has been in private practice for a total of 27 years.
