Freshfields sees revenue increase after significant 2015/16 decrease

February 1, 2018 With an increase from £1.28bn to £1.34bn (a 4.7% increase), the management team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer celebrated a notable improvement in its total revenue at the end of the 2016/17 financial year, which wrapped up on April 20, 2017.

Although he stepped down from his role of co-managing partner in mid-2017, Chris Pugh, along with managing partner Stephan Eilers and senior partner Edward Braham, is credited for managing the team that led the firm to an increase this year.

The firm’s shocking 24% decrease in operating profit in the 2015/16 year did not leave it in a positive position at the year's start, but the firm’s partners were able to begin a comeback this year, as evidenced by the latest LLP accounts filed with Companies House.
