Ashurst steadily building up HK office with corporate hire
Ashurst has recruited Slaughter & May counsel Frank Bi to join its Hong Kong corporate practice as a partner.
Bi’s focus is equity capital markets and M&A, as well as Hong Kong listing compliance work. He has been involved with cases pertaining to Swiss bank Credit Suisse, video platform Tian Ge Interactive, and SoftBank Vision Fund.
The firm’s Hong Kong office has been busy with hires since December. Bi’s is the fourth hire this year, after Damien Whitehead from White & Case, Daniel Lau from Allen & Overy, and Eric Tan from Fangda Partners.
