Linklaters adds 27 to partnership, increases female ratio

March 27, 2018 Linklaters has announced its promotions round, making up 27 lawyers to partner, up one from last year’s 26.

This year’s round includes 10 City lawyers, from banking, competition, corporate, and disputes practices. Between Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and India, nine lawyers were made up in Asia. Other cities with partner promotions are Brussels, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Milan, Warsaw, Frankfurt, and New York.

After last year’s underwhelming number of female promotions, the firm seems to have attempted to make up some ground. The firm’s new partners are 37% female, surpassing its 30% target.
