Irwin mixes up Manchester head roles after team loss

April 9, 2018 In the wake of the departure of Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester regional real estate head Anita Weightman, the firm has announced that its Manchester head Roy Beckett will take over the role on 1 May.

Weightman left the firm along with a team of five other partners to join Addleshaw Goddard. Beckett will leave his post as Manchester head to lead real estate, while current head of family law Ros Bever will take over for Beckett leading the branch.

Irwin Mitchell’s group chief executive Andrew Tucker praised Bever’s “huge energy and enthusiasm,” while commending Beckett’s “significant contribution,” affirming that both will have “a crucial role” in the firm’s future.
