Addleshaw hires former BLP Asia head to lead in APAC
Addleshaw Goddard has found a replacement for its head of the Asia-Pacific region with Bob Charlton.
Charlton is the former Asia head for Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner legacy firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), as well as its Hong Kong managing partner. Before joining BLP, he was the APAC managing partner at DLA Piper. Prior to that he spent three decades at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Clifford Chance.
Charlton will fill the role left behind by disputes expert Nigel Francis, who held the position for four years. Nigel is leaving the firm in order to pursue his contentious practice in Hong Kong.
