Dentons rejoices over double-digit PEP increase
Dentons is celebrating 36% profit per equity partner (PEP) growth in the UK and Middle East, earning a sizable boost from its November merger with Scottish legacy Maclay Murray & Spens.
Along with the merger came three new offices, in Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, and nearly 50 partners. According to regional chief executive Jeremy Cohen, revenue growth without the merger’s effect would have been 9%.
The encouraging numbers for the firm are made all the more significant due to a heavy downward movement in 2016/17, when PEP fell 9% and revenue increased by only 1%.
