Hogan Lovells to axe over 50 London business services staff

June 26, 2018 Hogan Lovells has announced that it will be cutting 54 business support jobs from its London office, with positions opening instead in international low-cost hubs and Birmingham.

With approximately 500 business support roles in London, Hogan Lovells’ recent review of 90 non-legal City jobs led the firm to make the decision to slash the roles from its City office.

Hogan Lovells is not the only firm to make a similar move, with Ashurst cutting about 80% of its London secretarial staff and Pinsent Masons opening a similar review of 100 non-legal jobs in 2017.
