DAC appoints new COO after five years with interim

July 9, 2018 After five years leaving the role vacant, DAC Beachcroft has hired Deacons partner Andrew Keith as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Keith currently holds the same role at Deacons, and has also had HR leadership positions at Baker McKenzie and legacy SJ Berwin. As he joins the firm, he will also assume a seat on the firm executive board and work directly under DAC managing partner David Pollitt.

In 2013 DAC’s COO Janet Scott exited to join KPMG, at which point partner and chair of business services Tony Cherry took over many of her responsibilities on an interim basis. The firm has been on the hunt for Scott’s replacement since before October 2017.
