Kennedys revenue spikes after mergers and launches
Kennedys has posted skyrocketing turnover in the wake of its financial year full of mergers and office launches.
The UK law firm’s revenue shot up 31% from £149.9m to £196m. It did not, however, opt to publish profit figures, which in 2016/17 stood at £27.2m.
The year of exceptional growth can be attributed in large part to the firm’s merger with Berg, a commercial litigation boutique based in Manchester, as well as a transatlantic merger with Carroll McNulty & Krull. Kennedys also opened four new offices in the 2017/18 year, in Argentina, Bangkok, Melbourne, and Puerto Rico.
