Eversheds rehires finance partner for third time

August 8, 2018 Eversheds Sutherland has strengthened its consumer finance practice in London with the hire of Barclays’ project legal head Naomi Seward.

Seward has had a long career of bouncing from Eversheds to in-house positions and back. She first started at Eversheds as a solicitor in 1999 before leaving the firm as a senior associate in 2008 to join Nationwide Building Society as a senior manager. After taking a pair of other in-house positions, one at Barclays and one at Premium Credit, she returned to Eversheds for a short stint in 2017. In August 2017 she made the move once again to Barclays as project legal head.

As she joins Eversheds as a partner for the first time, Seward will focus her practice on retail financial services, including consumer credit and regulation.
