Clydes reorganizes management in Hong Kong

Clyde & Co has announced that Christopher Jobson, who currently heads up the firm’s Abu Dhabi office, will take on a new role in Hong Kong. Upon joining the Hong Kong office, Jobson will have a regional management position and will also serve on the Asia Pacific management board of Clyde’s. Insurance and disputes partner Alfred Thornton is slated to take over Jobson’s position in Abu Dhabi. The management shuffle is the latest move in Clyde’s strategy to boost its marine and aviation capabilities in the Asia Pacific region. The firm also recently brought on Peter Coles, an aviation partner who joins the firm’s Hong Kong office from HFW.
