McCann Fitzgerald has announced that current managing partner Barry Devereux has been re-elected for a second term in the position. Devereaux took the helm at the Irish firm in 2015, having taken over the position from previous managing partner John Cronin. His next term, which is set to begin in May 2019, will focus on initiatives including bringing digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the firm’s business and regulatory operations. During Devereaux’s first term, the firm launched a new office in New York in 2016, following the lead of other major Irish firms operating in the city.
