Deutsche Bank detectives tried to place spy at German law firm

A private security firm hired by Deutsche Bank AG tried to place an intern at Munich-based law firm Bub Gauweiler & Partner to gather information about German media mogul Leo Kirch, according a German data-protection regulator. Bub Gauweiler & Partner represents media Kirch in lawsuits against Deutsche Bank. The bank stopped the operation before the lawyer started the internship.
