Skadden, Sheppard Mullin, Perkins Coie advise on Microsoft-Yahoo search deal

Microsoft and Yahoo have agreed to a deal under which Microsoft's Bing search engine will power Yahoo's search site, and Yahoo will sell search advertising services for both companies. Yahoo was advised by a team of lawyers from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton including Skadden M&A partner Kenton King and Sheppard Mullin's Brian Pass. Microsoft was represented by Perkins Coie, one of Microsoft's preferred legal providers.
