Most major Bay Area law firms saw revenues and profits remain flat in 2009, reports The Recorder. Half of the eight firms surveyed posted increases in profit per partner (PPP) and three recorded increased revenue in the single-digits: Morrison & Foerster: revenue down 3%, PPP up 4% Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe: revenue up, PPP up 3%. Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman: revenue down 7%, PPP down 2.5% Cooley Goodward Cronish: revenue down 8%, PPP down 11% Littler Mendelson: revenue up 5%, PPP up Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold: revenue up 1%, PPP down 4%. Fenwick & West: revenue down 2%, PPP flat Townsend and Townsend and Crew: revenue down 2%, PPP up 15%
