DLA Piper promotes record 69 to partnership

DLA Piper has promoted a record number to its global partnership, with 69 lawyers taking up new roles, it was announced 7 January. The promotions, which took effect from 1 January, saw 41 new partners made up across Europe and Asia plus a further 28 in the US. London gains more promotions than any other new office, with 12 made up across six practice areas. Four promotions come in corporate – Ed Griffiths, Julian Mathews, Kiran Sharma and Theresa Zacharias.
