Addleshaw Goddard makes up four new partners

Addleshaw Goddard has promoted four managing associates and a legal director to the partnership in its annual promotions round. Managing associates Aster Crawshaw and Elaine Gwilt will join the London office in the professional practices and tax groups respectively. Legal director Sonia McMahon is set to join the Manchester office in the business support and restructuring group, while managing associate Mark Molyneux becomes a partner in the Manchester contentious practice as of 1 May. Leeds-based managing associate Ben Lowans will take a role as partner in the firm's contentious practice. This round of promotions sees Addleshaw’s partnership increase to 163. This year’s round is slightly smaller than last year’s, when seven lawyers joined the firm's partnership, which in turn is smaller than the 2008 round, when nine associates were given partnership.
