CMS Cameron McKenna hires seven lawyers, boosts private equity practice

CMS Cameron McKenna has recruited a team of seven private equity lawyers who were formerly part of Linklaters CEE ‘flying squad’ – a group that handled private equity M&A transactions in central Europe and other emerging markets. The team is led by partner Ted Cominos, who is set to join the firm in Chicago as international head of private equity. The other members of the team are partners Graham Conlon (joining the London office) and Alexandra Florea (joining the Bucharest office) and associates John Faurescu, Cristina Proca, Anela Musat and Gokce Kilic. Ted Cominos said: “We’re very excited to be joining CMS. We believe that the firm and its global platform are a natural fit for our team. This is a firm that’s well regarded in the market as a leader in private equity and a leader in emerging markets - and we’re confident that we can go further.”
