Eversheds taps 19 lawyers for partnership

April 20, 2010 Eversheds has promoted 19 lawyers to the partnership in its annual promotions round – a marked drop from last year’s round, when 32 lawyers were made up. The firm's Munich office will see the most promotions, with four partners made up, while the Birmingham office comes in second with three promoted.

Paris, Cambridge and Italy will each receive two new partners, while Austria, Belgium, and South Africa all receive one. Elsewhere in the UK, one new partner has been made up in each of the firm's Cardiff, Leeds and London offices.

Eversheds chief executive Bryan Hughes commented: "These promotions reflect our exceptional talent pipeline across the world. All of our new partners have shown outstanding leadership in a difficult economic climate and have demonstrated the ability to combine high quality legal expertise with commercial acumen and service excellence."
