Linklaters promotes 14 to partnership

Linklaters has announced the promotion of 14 lawyers to the partnership. This year’s promotions round is a little lighter than the 2009 round, when 18 lawyers were made up to partnership. Eight of the 14 new partners will work in the firm’s London office, and there is one new partner in each of the Frankfurt, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Hong Kong offices. The firm has also promoted 21 lawyers – across 12 offices – to the rank of counsel, and has announced that 11 national partners have been moved from the salaried ranks into the firm's equity.
