McGrigors hires three partners from Hammonds

McGrigors has hired a trio of partners from Hammonds, including Hammonds’ former international head of construction and engineering David Moss. Moss resigned in March, along with Manchester office chief Jonathan Edwards, on one of only two days in the year when equity partners are permitted to resign from the firm. While Edwards has joined rival firm DWF, Moss is set to join McGrigors, along with Manchester partner Paul Giles and Leeds-based partner Richard Anderson. Hammonds managing partner Peter Crossley said: “We operate a fully integrated property, planning and construction team and, in anticipation of an upturn in demand, we are in the process of overhauling this department to ensure we are well-positioned to take advantage as activity returns.”
