Skadden relocates lawyers to boost Hong Kong litigation and arbitration practice

US firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom is boosting its Hong Kong litigation and arbitration practice, relocating two lawyers to deal with an increase in cross-border disputes and regulatory probes. Partner Frances Kao is set to move to Hong Kong from Chicago, and associate Kam Nijar will move from London. Other American law firms building disputes teams in Asia include Los Angeles-based Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Kobre & Kim.
