EpsteinBeckerGreen closes in Miami after mass defection

EpsteinBeckerGreen has taken the decision to close its Miami office after managing partner Michael Casey led a mass defection to Duane Morris, taking most of the attorneys and staff along with him. Casey will establish a new labor and employment practice at Duane Morris in Miami. Doug Hastings, Chairman of Epstein Becker's board, said: "In coordination with Mike's departure, we have decided to wind down our small operation." He added: "Over the years it became apparent that the Miami office did not fit with our strategic growth."
