Travers Smith promotes 5 to partnership, including part-time lawyer

Travers Smith has announced the promotion of five lawyers to the partnership in this year’s promotions round, up from four last year. This promotions round includes the firm's first partner to be promoted while working part-time. Tax lawyer Emily Clark will continue to work a four-day week after she joins the partnership on 1 July, as she has for the last nine years. The other promotions were awarded to James Renahan and Adrian West, who are set to become partners in the corporate practice, Ben Davis is the new partner in banking and Phil Bartram joins the partnership in financial services and markets. Travers managing partner, Andrew Lilley, said: "All our new partners will make a strong contribution to the future success of our business and their promotions reflect their commitment and hard work to date."
