Norton Rose to lose four partners in Middle East

August 8, 2011 Norton Rose is set to lose four partners from its Middle East practice to other firms.

Regional managing partner Campbell Steedman, a corporate lawyer based in Dubai, leaves the firm for White & Case, while Dubai banking partner Anthony Pallett moves to join Latham & Watkins. In addition, Abu Dhabi-based projects partners Dominic Harvey and Jonathan Brufal are leaving the firm to join Vinson & Elkins.

The firm is set to reinforce the Dubai office by relocating the co-head of Islamic finance, Mohammed Paracha, from Bahrain along with Singapore-based banking of counsel Matthew Escritt. In addition, the firm has hired Clifford Chance senior associate Alex Roussos, who joins the Dubai office as of counsel.
