WilmerHale hires star Antitrust lawyer Molly Boast

WilmerHale has boosted its New York antitrust and competition practice with the hire of Molly Boast, the former deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, where she had oversight of civil enforcement. Boast joins WilmerHale from a role as chairman of the antirtrust group at Debevoise & Plimpton, and her resume also includes the chair of the litigation practice at as LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae and a stint as senior deputy director and then director of the the FTC’s Bureau of Competition. Boast explained her latest move by saying that WilmerHale suited her strengths: a robust antitrust practice in Washington with a large IP practice, and plans to build its New York practice.
