Stephenson Harwood bolsters China practice with two hires

Stephenson Harwood has bolstered its expertise in China with the hire of partners ChunFai Lui and Matthew Wong, bringing its headcount in Greater China to 17 partners and 80 fee earners. Finance lawyer Wong joins the Hong Kong office of S&H from Bird & Bird. He is qualified to practice in Hong Kong, England, Wales and Australia. Corporate lawyer ChunFai Lui joins the firm from Baker & McKenzie. “Their arrivals will further augment our Greater China corporate and corporate finance capability which currently has some 25 lawyers in the region,” Voon Keat Lai, the firm’s managing partner in Greater China, said in a statement.
