UK firms Bond Pearce and Dickinson Dees in merger talks

Bond Pearce and Dickinson Dees have confirmed that they are considering a merger. The two firms have identical turnover of £46 million per annum, and profits are also similar. Bond Pearce recently gave up on merger negotiations with Scottish firm Maclay Murray Spens after the second attempt, and the firm has been looking for a merger partner since. Dickinson Dees appears to have had a tough couple of years, losing its 16 member family law team in 2010, casting off two thirds of its trainees in 2011 and seeing turnover plummet from the £60 million heights of the 2007-08 financial year.
