Hoyng Monegier hires two from Hogan Lovells

IP boutique Hoyng Monegier has hired Hogan Lovells partner Carla Schoonderbeek. Schoonderbeek leaves Hogan Lovells less than 18 months after joining the firm from Nauta Dutilh, and she is followed by fellow Hogan Lovells lawyer Bart Jong, who was also part of the team that shifted from Nauta Dutilh in June last year, and joins Hoyng Monegier as counsel. The duo will work out of both the Netherlands and Belgium on the firm’s life sciences regulatory practice. Hoyng Monegier managing partner Willem Hoyng said in a statement: “We’re delighted to welcome Carla on board. Her arrival means that our clients now, more than ever, can benefit at a European level from top-notch regulatory advice, combined with a seamless IP strategy.”
