Nixon Peabody to close Paris base

Nixon Peabody will be is set to close its Paris office after four years of operation. The paris base was launched in 2008 with the hire of 12 senior lawyers and a partner from Taylor Wessing. The Paris office grew to 11 partners, with seven associates and one paralegal. 
A spokesperson for the firm explained the move, saying: "Nixon Peabody is constantly focused on managing our business in the US and internationally to best serve the needs of our clients. With that as our priority, we are closing our Paris office, and will continue to serve our clients in France and Europe through our association with our Paris colleagues, the Terralex network, and other referral relationships."
