Maclay Murray & Spens loses 4 partners to Bond Pearce

December 26, 2012 Maclay Murray & Spens has lost four partners to Bond Pearce’s Aberdeen office, with the firm’s Head of Oil and Gas, Uisdean Vass leaving alongside Richard Cockburn (also oil and gas), Gordon Hobkirk (corporate) and Fraser Leslie (real estate).

Maclay Murray & Spens has twice tried to conclude a merger with Bond Pearce, and the most recent attempt was put to rest in March, after which Bond Pearce announced a merger with Dickinson Dees instead.

A spokeswoman for Bond Pearce said that the hires would add "momentum to our efforts to grow our business in one of the most vibrant economies in the UK".
