Irwin Mitchell's business practice aims fo £200m
Irwin Mitchell chief executive John Pickering aims to grow his firm’s business legal services division beyond the £200m turnover target.
In the last year the group’s revenue grew to £187m last year, and was granted five ABS licenses for its group structure. The firm also changed its corporate and reward structure last year, granting a £9.4m one-off uplift of accrued income and £14.3m basic profit share distribution.
Pickering said like-for-like profit was up from £31.3m to £38.6m, pointing to a “very pleasing” 23 per cent increase.
The firm has invested heavily in recruitment and infrastructure in pursuit oft he desired growth, taking on staff, fee earners and partners, with planst o increase ites corporate transaction capabilities in the business legal services division.
