Law firms continue to cluster near Silicon Valley

During the dot-com boom, large national law firms started setting up shop in Palo Alto. But even after the boom went bust, the firms continued to flock there, solidifying the northern part of Santa Clara County's place as the epicenter of Silicon Valley's legal culture. At least one-third of Santa Clara County Bar Association members work in North County, said association president Tom Kuhnle, who works for Bingham McCutchen in Menlo Park.
