US firm Cadwalader hires exec compensation expert

July 22, 2013 US-based law firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft has boosted its employment practice with the hire of Steven Eckhaus from Katten Muchin Rosenman.

Eckhaus leaves behind the chair of the executive employment practice at his former firm to take up the leadership of the executive compensation and benefits practice at Cadwalader. He has experience negotiating banker pay packages, having brokered deals worth more than $5 billion.
 
Cadwalader chairman Christopher White commented, “Steven is an outstanding lawyer who has attracted a following among some of the best companies in America and their senior executives.”
