Cadwalader hires top London structured finance team
Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft has boosted its London structured finance team with the hire of a top ranked structured finance team from Mayer Brown, including former finance and banking practice head Bruce Bloomingdale and partner Jeremiah Wagner.
The hires bring the London office up to a partner headcount of 12, which represents the first time the London base has been fully restored after seven partners left for Paul Hastings in 2009.
London managing partner Gregory Petrick says that he expects the office to grow to 40 lawyers by the year end.
Other recent hires in London include former Mayer Brown finance partner Stephen Day and former Linklaters financial restructuring and insolvency partner Yushan Ng, both of whom joined the firm last year, as well as restructuring partners Holly Neavill and Louisa Watt, who joined in May from Latham & Watkins and Richards Kibbe & Orbe respectively.
