IndusLaw loses one of its co-founders

March 22, 2014 Indian law firm IndusLaw is losing one of its co-founders. Tapas Misra, an of counsel and head of the firm’s tax practice, is leaving along with a team of two lawyers to launch a tax boutique firm in Noida.

The new firm is called MnM Legal, and has two partners - Tapas Misra and his wife Sangita Misra. The two partners will be supported by Eliane Muhury, an associate who specialises in indirect taxes and service tax, and KK Samantaray, who is an associate and a chartered accountant.

Tapas Misra has considerable experience, having been director and head of tax litigation at RSM & Co in Delhi, tax and regulatory services director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and having spent 15 years as an advocate at Vaish Associates.
