Foley & Lardner boosts LA office with Pillsbury hire

July 21, 2014 Foley & Lardner has boosted its LA offering with the hire of Chris Laukenmann from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Laukenmann has been a partner in Pillsbury’s corporate and securities practice since early 2000, and before that he worked as in-house counsel at Transamerica, Aegon, and Great Western Bank.

Laukenmann will work in the Finance & Financial Institutions, Private Equity & Venture Capital and Transactional & Securities practices, bringing expertise in investment, capital, governance, corporate strategy, risk management, treasury, regulatory and reorganization issues.

“Given his in-house legal and law firm experience, Chris offers clients a holistic perspective in developing smart business strategies that drive results,” said Richard W. Lasater, II, chair of Foley’s Business Law Department. “His deep knowledge and unique background will benefit our clients across a variety of industries.”
